About the Illustrator

Giao Williams has enjoyed making pictures since she was a small child growing up in Northwest Indiana. She attended The University of Notre Dame and studied in the College of Arts & Letters. She spent some time working in the art-free corporate world before she realized that she missed making pictures and decided to spend time at the Illinois Institute of Art to move toward making art a more regular part of her life. She creates a new drawing or doodle daily and lives in New Jersey with her husband, two daughters, and rescue hound dog. Their cozy home is covered in art everywhere and they may need more wall space.
